Oh and don't use those knockoff chinese memory cards. I will say they have been improving memory card compatibility but it's still kinda random on which cards it likes and doesn't like. The installer seems to have problems with 3rd party memory cards. One last thing from my experience it's best to use an official sony ps2 memory card for this exploit. You can use one of the swap magic files to boot those. (I guess this could be a pain if you go into the memory card manager a lot).Īlso I should say this the ESR loader which allows for backups to be played does not work for PS1 games and neither does HDLoader. Just start the PS2 without the card in and then put the card in after the PS2 has booted. Getting into the memory card manager isn't a pain.

You can also install other executables like Swap Magic, various media players, etc. It is possible to convert CD games to DVD format but it's a pain. The ESR loader which you can use to play disk backups only works for DVDs. The downside is it's a pain in the ass to play PS2 cd/blue disk backups unless you're loading them onto a hdd. I have this installed and it works like a charm.
